White pants 5 ways - Part 2 (All out white)

Although this series is based on white pants (they are my new crush item), these kinds of looks could easily be replicated with other coloured pants. After all, not everyone is naturally drawn to white. Understandably so.  White are the kind of items that if you have a habit for attracting stains or spills, then you should definitely steer clear of. For those of you where that is the case, I'm sure this outfit will make you shudder.  But this 'tonal' or 'all in one coloured' type outfits I've been really attracted to lately. I think it has something to do with really simplifying my style and going more minimalistic.  Actually it doesn't get much more minimalistic than this!

What I'm wearing:

Although I always include links to what I'm wearing in my posts (if items are from current season), I thought I would start to include 'get the look for less' options as a bit of a trial.  I know I have personally looked at other people's outfits (or a signature piece) and wanted to recreate their look (or similar), many times with a lesser price tag.  Let me know if you think these links are useful and I will continue to include them.  At times they may be more budget orientated items, at other times, more mid range options.  Either way, they will always be a cheaper alternate to the actual item I'm wearing.  Since I'm a stickler for quality, I feel like I have an obligation to only recommend brands or products that I know and trust. You may find cheaper or other alternates out there that are more suitable to your style or needs, but I figure that giving some 'get the look for less' options will help you with a solid starting point. Happy hunting...

    1. I can definitely say white pants are well worth a try. It's just about finding a pair that are thick enough not to be see through. There seem to be a heap of gorgeous white pants around at the moment so it's a great time to be looking. x

  11. Love how well you wear white! That jumper is the perfect cut as well - looks amazing on you! I know exactly what would happen if I were to attempt to wear something similar though - I am one of those clumsy people you mentioned who can't avoid spilling things all over white clothes, haha! Doesn't stop me admiring the look on others though :)

    1. Ha ha... Mica I was one of those people too. I think my lifestyle better affords me the chance to wear white occasionally without incidents these days (and of course some luck). x

  12. I love this look - you are rocking this in to autumn? Amazing. And the trousers looks such good quality - which you can always tell by how "thin" some fabrics are and this pair obviously isn't.

The hair - love it especially with the ombre effect on it. I wish my hair had that kind of texture to do that with.

    1. Let's call it the start of Autumn and it had actually warmed up a bit since the week before so a good excuse to whip on this outfit.

I know what you mean about 'thin'. Leaves nothing to the imagination which is a cringe worthy factor for me. I don't like to show that much!

Loads of layers in my hair and the ombre is quite unintentional. It was the 'left over' colour from my long style and I didn't have the guts to have a chop and colour all in one so I think I just got lucky with how the ombre accents the ends!

  16. This is a great look. Do you really go out all day in all white? So brave!! I'm so impressed; I don't think I could last more than five minutes before I trip and fall or run into something that will ruin the pristine white. Gorgeous look, thanks for sharing!

    1. Hi Katie, I'm pretty lucky since I rarely spill things these days but I definitely pick and choose the occasions that I will wear all white. White requires some thought and advance planning factoring in what might be involved in the day.

  17. Those heels are AMAZING! It's funny how you can always tell when a pair is expensive, right when I saw them I knew they'd be a big brand. Gorgeous.
And I love your haircut, I wish I was brave enough for that!

    1. I have the same eye with shoes. I can't move past quality and attention for detail with shoes. They are my utter weakness. The haircut was nerve wracking but well over due and I had been thinking about it for probably 4 months. I think that made all the difference.

There's something about wearing all white that just so elegant, love it.
I think it's a great idea to post budget friendly & mid range options too.
