Harden up princess!

I have noticed that a lot of my latest wish list items have something in common.  Pure attitude and the ability to toughen up a look.  Any pieces which melds my age old favourite colour black with either a fetish (but sophisticated) influence, a touch of metal hardware bling, perforated materials, leather or strategically cut out designs, are on my list.

Granted my choices below are predominately not suitable for wall flowers.  Some of them border on hard-core pieces that may well be confused, if teamed all together, as being a little too S&M dominatrix.  Still these are my favourites and it's a trend that is booming on the S/S runways.  Naturally balance needs to be considered. I would choose to add just one or two killer pieces to my wardrobe.  These pieces are dramatic enough in themselves without going all head to toe.  Shudder!

In all honesty, I can't see the knee-high gladiator sandals forming part of my wardrobe. My lifestyle just doesn't afford me the opportunity to wear them, but hell they are cool!  With that one exception, I bet I could mange to work in any of the others.  Now money tree, where art thou?

  1. I love these edgier choices - the Christopher Kane clutch is just dreamy, if only I had a spare $600 to splash out on it!

  2. I think the bags and clutches would be incredibly easy to wear! :)

Agree with you about the knee high sandals though - they are absolutely stunning but I wouldn't get any wear out of them either :(
