The first for the year
Meet the newest member of my wardrobe. I really love that the bag is understated and not classified in anyway as an 'it bag' (yes I'm guilty of owning 'it bags' and some 'it shoes' too). But to put my reasoning in to context, I don't want my wardrobe to be an up-to-date mirror of everything current season or what's considered to be 'in'. Rather, I want it to reflect my personality, what I truly love and my lifestyle. And then of course there is the other benefit. Shopping the sales! This Valentino is a sales acquisition and my first buy of the year. She's a simple beauty don't you think?

This a so beautiful! I've been really drawn to simpler accessories recently too. The stud fastening is the perfect finishing touch to all the clean lines.
