When comfort counts

I had such an amazing weekend.  Nice and relaxed and rugged up as ever.  It seems that winter has finally arrived and everything before this was simply a mild preparation.

This is a rather short and sweet post, basically just with some photographs of my standard weekend wear. Sorry if it's not extremely exciting but in reality, this is what I love wearing so it's a very common and authentic look for me.

As you will be able to tell from the photographs, there was loads of pulling faces, laughing, dancing, impersonations and various other oddities that occurred while we were capturing these.  See if you can spot the shot that resembles a kooky version of Kylie Minogue's 'Locomotion'... showing my age right there.  On a kind of redemption note, I think (hope) they show some personality.

I hope you all had a great weekend. They are far too short though wouldn't you agree?

  1. You are SO cute! Love the boots. And in response to your comment, yes I have been working at NAP for two years! Only just left to go freelance - I know, I'm mad to give up the discount. Nx

    1. Hi Sue, This one is really nice and simple. Just your favourite jeans, simple boots, basic tee and a jacket. Whatever items of those you love the most it will work :)

    1. I'm sure you will find one June in the sales. There seems to be so much around at the moment. I found this one is a little boutique in Melbourne that I had never been into, years ago and it was down to around the $200-$250 mark. Insane reduction but only had one left. It's worth checking the boutiques for deals like that especially right at the end of season when things are heavily reduced.

    1. Hi Ai, The Chili's are amazing! Yes exactly the same sizing as the Bardu/Dombes boots and really comfortable. They came in brown suede as well and from memory are from around 2009 or 2010. They come up on French eBay a bit though xx

  10. Love this outfit on you. Comfort is the key to feeling good, right? Those boots!! They look amazing. Are they comfortable?

    1. Definitely. There's nothing like feeling just as comfortable at a days end as you did in the morning. The boots are really great. They only have a smallish heel (apprx 2.5") and the cone shape makes them stable. As comforable as the IM Dicker boots for sure.
