Summer envy

I've been reading far too many blogs based in Europe which means all I have been hearing is endless recounts of gorgeous sunny days.  As a result it has caused me to suffer a little summer envy.  So today when we had a spot of sun and a hint of warmth I decided to whip on the shorts and my silk bomber to take my little white pins for a walk to catch some rays.

  1. Love this casual look - the embroidery on that jacket is beautiful :) And I'm jealous you got weather sunny enough to wear shorts! haha! It's so cold here in Queensland!

  2. Haha, it's so funny that your seasons are reversed from Europe :) But at least you don't get like -5°C which has been quite a standard in Europe in the last years! :) Back to your outfit... fab as always! Been always loving this jacket and the way you styled it is just perfect! :*

    1. It's funny it actually looked better in real life. I'm quite short so it's difficult getting photo's that are flattering especially in oversized/baggy things such as the shorts. The sunshine and warmth lastest for a solid hour!

  11. I can't believe you're wearing that in autumn! It must've been relatively warm there. We were in mid 20s and the temperature has been dropping rapidly since.

This is a great oufit! I love all you're 'what I'm wearing' blogs. Do you have a link to all your 'What I'm wearing's? Or could you do a 'tumblr' for these? You have been a real inspiration for how to style my favourite designers' clothes, if only I could afford them!
By the way don't be too envious of the European weather unless you're thinking Cannes, here in England it is summer one day and winter the next!

    1. Thanks for the feedback. The blog is evolving into more of a what I'm wearing blog with a few other things for a bit of diversity. It will be predominantly outfit based from now on though. I was a little camera shy before.

Thanks for the suggestion regarding tumblr. I'm looking into using something like that or maybe lookbook? I will hopefully have something up and running in the next few weeks.

A heads of on affording things... I get a lot of my items on sale (at major retailers at end of season or www.theoutnet.com or online sites such as eBay and vestiairecollective.com. It's amazing what you can pick up.

Good old English summer... it never fails to be inconsistent. I hope you get some warmth
