Sunday is my favourite day of the week. It feels like the world slows to a much steadier pace, weekly woes are forgotten and everyone is super happy and friendly. So to start our perfect Sunday, we took our little relaxed selves to Cowderoy's milk bar/cafe which is one of our favourite, low-key haunts for brunch. Even though it's the other side of the city, the trek is well worth the effort. It's extremely chilled out and frequented by the locals in droves, but it still maintains a yester-year kind of ambiance. Old mismatched chairs and a view over a little playground from the outside deck. The food is so reasonably priced and it has that Nana's home made mouthwatering wholesomeness and flavour that's hard to come by these days. It's 'quaint'. The perfect place to eat when you want to roll out of bed and meet up without fuss, and surrounded by leafy, quiet streets ready for the much needed amble after devouring (hey... I'm honest) the treats.
I took the rolling out bed kind of comfortable/relaxed dressing a little bit literally, complete with something resembling 'bed-head' hair. Fortunately that's the acceptable kind of attire that's commonly seen (and embraced) at Cowderoy's. Hell... I figured live a little and be comfortable, no? Cowderoy's has a completely chilled out atmosphere, so the Celine bag was therefore probably over kill, but I had just picked it up last week. Since I couldn't contain my excitement, I just had to take the bag for a test run.
What I'm wearing:
Skin and Threads relaxed pants
Something Else slouchy knit
Isabel Marant Willow sneakers
Celine Mini Luggage tote
Ray Ban Wayfarer sunglasses
Since it was jam packed we opted not to unsettle our fellow diners to take a photo. So below is a little snapshot by 'Little Eats Reviews'. Most importantly, for all of you in Melbourne, here's the must have info. The location...
