I got the blues: Isabel Marant Woody sandals

It feels like I've wanted these Isabel Marant Woody sandals from the 2010 collection for a life time. As it turns out, good things come to those that wait (...and wait and wait...).  I scooped these up, brand new.  They were the steal of the century since they were priced so cheaply. That combined with the strength of the Australian dollar against the Euro made them one of my best buys ever.  Standing tall never felt so sweet.

    1. Hi Rose,

One of my friends told me above them in France. There were loads of language barriers and loads of translating on Google, but it all paid off :-)

  5. Nothing better than finding something you've been lusting after for ages & had all but given up ! Especially shoes. I did the same with a pair of old Chloe sandals that I was desperately in love with, hunted for them everywhere then ended up getting them for a song, yay!

    1. Oh congrat's on your Chloe's! Isn't it funny how it works out sometimes. The one item that drives you crazy with the pursuit is the one you end up getting for a steal. Kind of makes the wait worthwhile :-)

I noticed that you have a knack for finding great shoes from previous seasons. Can i ask what sites/where you find them?

    1. Hi,

I tend to trawl the internet sites like eBay and http://uk.vestiairecollective.com (this is a great site that normally sells far cheaper than eBay but it only ships within the EU).

With eBay I tend to search various sites such as www.ebay.com, www.ebay.fr, ebay.co.uk as some sellers only list items for sale in their own country. I email them if I'm after the item and ask if they will ship to me. Normally listings that don't list worldwide (in country only), go for a cheaper price which is great.

So that's my tips :-) Also, sign up to online retailers so you get notified of sales. It's the best way to get deals. Even after an item is sold out, I continue to check back in case an item I was after (but missed out on) gets returned, which they do often. It's just a case of checking at the right time.

I hope these tips help. They work for me extremely well.

LOVE them on you!! Are they the same heel height and same sizing as your Bardu boots?

    1. Yes they are the same sizing as the Bardu boots but the heels on the Woody's is definitely a little higher. I would say approx 0.5" or so

Thanks dear! Also, was wondering about the sizing and heel height for the Dombes boots? Sorry forgot to mention that this was Jaded81 :D

    3. Oh hi :) The Dombes boot heel is around the same as the Bardu boots. Very very similar if not the same (same sizing as well)
