Native American lux: Isabel Marant Renell jeans

Jeans for me have become pieces of art and a form of expression ever since I discovered Isabel Marant's creations.  My latest acquisition are these. The 'Renell' skinny jeans which have a native American influence and the most devine embroidery.  I was fortunate enough to find these at Aime in Notting Hill, London a couple of weeks back.  It was unexpected since I had scoured the globe, internet and hounded numerous stores in search for my size only to find they were 'sold out'.  Aime however seemed to have ample stock of much of the Isabel Marant winter range which was an utter surprise especially considering the demand for Isabel Marant, how quaint the boutique was and the attentiveness of the staff.  I say this rather rarely, but what an enjoyable shopping experience.

What I'm wearing:
Isabel Marant 'Renell' skinny jeans
Christian Louboutin 'Pigalle' patent heels
Country Road basic tee

  6. Thanks ladies for all of the feedback. Blush blush...

Souade - if you are still looking for them try Aime in Notting Hill, London. They had heaps left! I believe they are now on 30% off as well with sale. The pigalle heels are uber sexy (as you already know since you own a pair). You have great taste from one shoe fanatic to another.

  17. Hi there I just stumbled across your blog and I just have to say that I love these jeans too! Trying to find a pair in black in London is so so difficult! I was just wondering if you know how sizing runs in these. I'm normally a UK/AU size 10(waist 28) so I thought I will be a size 1 but I was told that I might need a size 2 in these instead.

    Thanks!

    1. Hi kittymaruko, I went for a size 1 in these even though I'm an Australian 6(ish), size 25 in jeans. The legs on the jeans are quite a slender cut, although the waist is normal. I would go for the size 2 for you and I don't think you will have any trouble at all. The size 1 I think would probably be too tight in the legs if that makes sense. They are really lovely. Have you tried Aime in London? I was there just before Xmas and they had heaps! Although they would have had the sale by now, but still they would be your best bet. Let me know how you go xx

    1. Hi Maree, Thanks you're very sweet. I would say the waist will fit you. I'm a size 25 and the waist fit me in the size 0 better than the size 1. If you have slender legs, I would say you would be fine with the 0. If you like a little less tight look on the legs or if you have more muscular legs, I would go for the size 1. You could always ask for the measurement of the width of the legs at the thigh and knee. I hope that helps.

  19. Sweet find! I hope that Australian designers will try to incorporate similar patterns on our jeans.

    1. That would be great. I remember being a bit hesitant about the embroidery but once I saw them in real life they took my breath away.
