The leg lengtheners: Christian Louboutin Pigalle heels

Working in an office my general style five days a week incorporates high heels. I'm relatively vertically challenged being only five foot six inches and from the first moment I stepped into my first set of heels, unbelievably I was able to walk gracefully and without pain.  The additional of four inches plus to my height delivered by cavorting the foot into an unnatural curve somehow came naturally to me Which leads me to these heels. The Christian Louboutin 'Pigalle' patent five inch stilettos.

As you can probably imagine these heels manage to get a lot of attention, some solely because they are Christian Louboutin with an unmistakable red lipstick under soles and also due to their classic design.  But the majority of curiosity, stares and comments is always due to the heel height.  I even get the odd passer by who feels the need to stop me, a perfect stranger out of sheer wonder to enquire about how I possibly walk in them. Given the thin heel and the sheer deathly height I can understand the intrigue. I'm equally bemused by the fact that I can stay upright in these and that said, these heels do require a certain about of concentration especially when on uneven ground. However they happen to be one of my favourite pairs of heels and although I think I'm pretty competent in them, I do breathe a sigh of relief when I get home at the end of the day in good health, without a twisted ankle and knowing I didn't have any kind of public fall from grace throughout the day.  That's always an accomplishment.

I have these too but never managed to conquer my fear of falling or the pain it takes to actually wear them for any longer than 2 hours!
